Joseph Maureen Walsh, SCN

Joseph Maureen Walsh, SCN, age 79, a native of Charlestown, Mass., died at Nazareth Home, Louisville, Ky., on December 31, 2008. She had been a Sister of Charity of Nazareth for 60 years.

Sister Joseph Maureen served in elementary education in Kentucky, Massachusetts and Maryland for 35 years. Sister served in Pastoral Care at Nazareth Home/Maria Hall from 1986-2006. She was a resident at the Motherhouse, Nazareth, Ky., from January 2006 until she was transferred to Nazareth Home in January 2007.

Survivors include a brother, Joseph Walsh of Pompano Beach, Fla.; and two sisters, Claire Mulhern of Shamong, N.J., and Christina Buhl of the The Villages, Fla.
